Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Eskolr (“the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Eskolr on behalf of a school, you represent that you are authorised to bind that school to these Terms.
1. The Service
Eskolr provides a private AI study assistant that answers student doubts from a school’s own textbooks, with teacher escalation and analytics. Features may evolve over time.
2. Accounts
- School administrators create and manage teacher and student accounts.
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful, educational purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service.
- Do not upload content you do not have the rights to use.
4. Content & intellectual property
Schools retain ownership of textbooks and content they provide. Eskolr retains all rights to the platform, software, and its underlying technology. Schools grant Eskolr a limited licence to process provided content solely to operate the Service.
5. AI-generated answers
Eskolr generates answers from your textbooks and, where a student opts in, clearly-labelled general knowledge. While we strive for accuracy, answers are study aids and should not be treated as a substitute for a teacher’s judgement.
6. Fees
Subscription fees are as agreed in your school’s plan. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law.
7. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance and updates from time to time.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription per the agreed terms. On termination, access to the Service ends and data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eskolr is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
